The Establishment
The Moroccan Center for Arbitration, Mediation, and Support was established by a team of diverse lawyers and experts seeking to provide integrated and comprehensive services in the fields of arbitration and mediation, in addition to training courses. The Center combines multiple legal specialties aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of arbitration and mediation.
A Multidisciplinary Team: Our team includes legal scholars, lawyers, judges, judicial officers, adouls, doctors, university research professors, businesspeople, freelancers, and company owners. The center also includes Master’s and PhD students.
Facilities and Services: The center’s headquarters are equipped with the latest technologies to host training sessions, support services, consultations, as well as mediation, conciliation, arbitration, and legal studies.
Achievements: Over the past three years, the center has graduated three training cohorts and organized national seminars featuring experts in arbitration and mediation, alongside legal and economic specialists in the field of commercial transactions and corporate law.
Partnerships and Outreach: The center works to enhance communication between judicial authorities and arbitration and mediation experts on both national and international levels.
Objectives of the Center
Protection of Interests and Jurisdictional Efficiency: The center protects the interests of companies and individuals in commercial transactions, services, and all professional relationships by restricting dispute resolution to arbitration and mediation, bypassing Moroccan or foreign state courts. Disputes are concluded at the control center located in the Borj Founty Building in Agadir, eliminating the need for travel between Moroccan cities or international destinations to obtain a court ruling. The award issued by the arbitral body of the Founty Chamber for Arbitration and Mediation replaces traditional judicial judgments and is enforceable in Moroccan courts or foreign courts where the counterparty is located.
